The airport of  Fiumicino  also known as Leonardo da Vinci International Airport, however, is 30 kilometers west from the city center of  Rome .

Fiumicino airport has 43 million passengers (pre-covid data) the largest Italian airport by number of passengers, in fact about 105 airlines operate from the airport. it is connected by bus and railway line. Da Vinci Airport consists of 2 terminals (T1 and T3) which welcome flights from all over the world.

The  T1  is used for domestic flights, it is dedicated to Alitalia and the SkyTeam alliance. The first Terminal consists of 94 check-in desks and offers Business Class people and minors a dedicated Lounge area, as well as offering another Lounge area also in the non-sterile area open to all.
